thick, heavily textured, frayed edge

This is a great paper and I personally like it, but it is very thick and very textured so this should be what you are looking for. The quality is excellent and I love the packaging. It's very much like a project, and having one of these beautiful, high-quality pages in front of you when you start painting with watercolors is a great process. The photo I shared is a W&N watercolor with some prismatic pencils in the middle. It was just a color study of what different shades of red did on the page.
