Visited Revain today to buy another one and just started reviewing the reviews before buying. After reading some of the negative reviews I figured I should at least leave what I had. I have two of these (2TB) versions, the oldest of which was purchased in January 2016. The eldest works every day as my MacPro time machine backs up, stores and plays numerous music files from the recording studio. I run these studio files directly from my external hard drive almost every day. The second was purchased in February 2016 and it goes in my briefcase every weekend to record live bands on my laptop (Macbook Pro) and is also that laptop's Time Machine backup drive. Both are still working without any problems after almost three years of hard work. Maybe I just got lucky, but I can't find a good reason not to stick with something that works so well for me after years of constant use. This time I'm planning to buy a 4TB and hope to get the same reliability as with the 2 I'm still using. For what I used them for I was very satisfied and they were worth what I paid for them.
