We have purchased this for many Monarch caterpillars that we have had in our garden. We didn't succeed with the first batch, but the cage was easy to clean and we tried again! Just put it in the sink with dish soap and it's clean in no time! The second pair of caterpillars felt comfortable here and made their pupa on top. They had no problem crawling into this cage or holding onto the top. I had easy access to them through the top and side access. We even had one that had the cocoon fall off and I was able to easily reattach it to the top with a pin. We can't wait to use it year after year!
