Let me start by saying that I love these children's bookshelves. They hold books very well and look so cute on the nursery wall. But. The hardware to be installed is simply not good enough. The first shelf we installed fell right out of the wall so we switched to longer screws and then it held up well. But then they didn't even hang on the wall for weeks, maybe 4 days, and now the bottom one is already torn at the edge, peeling off and a piece is missing. So now I have to sand and paint it. I mean, I know they're not very expensive, but isn't it asking too much for something to last more than a week without repair? Not to mention the security issue as they are installed where my kids can get them so now I have to worry about future shards my kids might get from them. I really love these shelves, I'm just really disappointed with the quality.
