The collars themselves are cute, durable and great value. HOWEVER - do yourself a favor and remove the moon charm before placing it on the kitten. The shape of the suspension captures everything perfectly. I thought my cat was going to throw a tantrum over a new dog, but I pushed my food container off the counter (it fills up itself, so it's not that easy!) until I came in while she was eating and saw the Spell caught was the edge of her bowl, her panic and attempt to jump off the bowl and drag everything with her! Just a design flaw that could be dangerous for a kitten. The release is a bit slower than other collars I've had, be aware of that. My cat is an indoor cat so I don't have that much to worry about and I mainly use her collar to call so I can keep an eye on her, but please consider your cat's safety before you buy. Update: ok, so just a few months later the moons are all falling off their collars. Just don't buy.
