Review on ๐Ÿ•๏ธ Optimized Ultralight Tent Stakes by Coghlan's by Brian Inman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Beautiful copper anodized aluminum tent poles - as beautiful as they are functional

I bought these tent poles not to use as tent poles but to keep plant markers in my garden. The stakes are supplied with a short loop of white nylon cord through a hole in the metal. I removed the hinges and replaced the key rings with aluminum factory ID tags hanging from them. The stakes provide attractive and durable support for the tags, and the copper color goes well with the red mulch I use. The stakes have 3-way flanges that prevent them from twisting in the ground. My only issue is that the stakes seem to pull out of the ground easily. This doesn't seem to be a problem for my plant ID tags, but if you want them to hold something in soil that's a bit loose in texture I wouldn't rely on them.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Some problems
