I have two air mattresses, both single compartment, that I bought 20 years or more ago. Came with a lifetime guarantee. The original company was then bought by Comfort Air. A little over 10 years ago one of the pumps died. Comfort Air provided a replacement. Actually for both mattresses and is designed for two-chamber mattresses. Good business. Different air pump but still the same features. The air pump died a week ago. Each button would either confuse the device or cause the pump to just run non-stop. For example, turn off the power to stop the pump and manually deflate to an appropriate density. Well, the lifetime warranty is now called proportional and the pumps aren't even made anymore. I found this Revain replacement, much cheaper than a new mattress, and bought it. I'll send it back if it doesn't fit. It is significantly quieter, has a memory function and is again designed for two compartments. But they work independently, so I only connected one side. Need a hose adapter. But it really works so well that I ordered a second pump for a different mattress. This replaced pump was beginning to lose pressure, so the new storage pump was not just a solution, it was a step forward. Rest assured I just discontinued them so I can't comment on durability. But I don't have to adjust the air pressure every day. As long as they stay on the preferred pressure for almost a week. One star deduction only because the second pump was delivered disassembled in the box. All parts looked new and seemed to work well, but it was missing the new hardware packaging that was supposed to protect the pump during shipping. However the mattresses I have have been well tailored heavy duty mattresses and for the price of these replacement pumps 2 air mattresses 20+ years old are like new, priced close to the original not to mention value in today's market.
