First remove the pin. Read below!
Works great. I recommend removing the bolt and screwing it all the way into the truck's antenna port. Then we attach the antenna to the remaining threads. This helped the reception a lot, to the point where I didn't notice any loss of signal from the factory antenna. Looks great, the antenna in the garage doesn't scratch and I've been through the car wash 5 times with no problems.
