Columbia's Silver Ridge vest is anything but chic, but it is very functional. I hate my wallet so I wear this vest when I go shopping and walk my dog. The lightweight Columbia Vest is made from 100% nylon and is machine washable and tumble dryable. It has handwarmer pockets that close with buttons and two small breast pockets with buttons. The waist can be tightened. uncomfortable so I leave the hood loose. The vest zips up and the tusk color is a matte but functional khaki. I don't care much about fashion, but even I find it a bit dated.
