Feels like squeezing too hard

I had high hopes for them as I have several lightbulbs that require a ladder to access. Although I'm only slightly taller than the average hobbit, almost everything requires a ladder, but I digress. In any case, the plastic they are made of is too hard and it takes too much pressure to really create suction and "grab" the bulb. It feels like if I press too hard it will either press against the body of the fixture on my wall or smash the bulb. I don't recommend these at all.
