I have tried many brands of bamboo sheets including Cariloha, Ettitude, JOMO, Linenwalas and Luxome. This brand is the oiliest-smoothest! There is a satin weave, so the glossy side will be smoother and softer. The shine is quite subtle but visible in the light. They also seem to be one of the coolest brands despite being thicker. Don't expect miracles! If you don't have A/C or it's broken, it's still best to sleep without top sheets or blankets/blanket/quilts when it's very hot. due to dyes / lack of dyes. Bamboo viscose becomes softer the more often it is washed. Wash in cold water, tumble dry low. No fabric softener! Wash only with similar bamboo materials to avoid pilling and damage. Other fabrics, towels and socks made from bamboo viscose are not as smooth, so I wash them separately. The bamboo is crumpled. I don't think it matters much if you take the sheets out of the dryer right away. If you suffer from OCD, it might be time to invest in a good vaporizer. If you prefer crisp sheets, percale or twill sheets may work for you. With bamboo-viscose plates, Cariloha offers both bindings in different lines, but I haven't tried them. The build quality could have been better. You can see photos from many free streams. That means they don't have fancy commercial sewing machines where you step on the pedal to cut the thread and their workers work so fast they can't cut them all. It does not matter! Take a pair of scissors and cut the threads. Do not cut the pillowcase/sheet or stitch/seam. The "N" may be correct as they may not have official OEKO-TEX certification. They said they made Cariloha sheets and I believe they made Ettitude sheets (the Ettitude sheets were the same thickness and texture as Hotel Sheets Direct). So at some point their products and production were certified by OEKO-TEX. I'm pretty sure their factories still use loopback processes.
