Well I was trying to figure out how far I could take my PC as a gaming machine and I've already upgraded the RAM once with a single slot of the same chip. My computer ran Oblivion just fine (above medium settings) so I was wondering what other game was within range of my PC and Mass Effect, a game I enjoyed even though I'd only played a few hours on Friends 360, Not only was it playable, but - with a similar memory upgrade - it could run on high settings. So I bought a second card and couldn't be happier. The game runs great, looks great (thanks to an NVIDIA update), and Vista doesn't have a heart attack when I launch the game with a program or two in the background (Oblivion struggles when I leave the window for some reason). . but I'm pretty sure it's software related and not my PC's memory size. I definitely recommend this as a cheap but potentially game-changing (pun intended) small update for any PC (made within the last three years) that supports it.
