I was surprised at how subtle it is, more of an observation than a complaint. It is soft and elastic. I have no problems with the product. I bought this to make a chest strap for my backpack. And a thumbs up for an extra item. I took a chance because of the low price. The delivery of such items is prohibited. For those interested, I was looking for a color to match the straps on my multi-cam backpack. Matching a color to a computer screen is always difficult. And it can be difficult to find stores with different colors. The finished straps I found use black hardware and I wanted matching hardware. The hardware is listed as brown, I already have some in the Coyote that don't fit so I ordered these on the Lark. I was afraid it would be too light, actually too dark. I've attached an image showing the two in comparison.
