Very irritating chemical stench

I bought an orange webbing and made a dozen webbing for my van. After a day in the van in the sun, the chemical stench from the straps was unbearable. I hung them in a hot garage for three weeks and they're still useless in a van. Now they smell less, but the best I can say is I'll be able to use them in a month or two.

Pros
  • Polypropylene
Cons
  • Minor problems

Works for me, good for climbing

I had to make some straps to fit under the UPS batteries so I can easily pull them out when they need to be replaced. It worked. It's thin enough to fit inside, flexible enough to wrap around batteries, and doesn't cost an arm or a leg. I cut it to length, melted the ends with a lighter, and you're done. I don't expect any problems as the batteries aren't big enough to generate much heat. I had about five feet left, but what's the difference at this price? I'm sure I'll end up using it for…

Good product. for woven webbing

I was surprised at how subtle it is, more of an observation than a complaint. It is soft and elastic. I have no problems with the product. I bought this to make a chest strap for my backpack. And a thumbs up for an extra item. I took a chance because of the low price. The delivery of such items is prohibited. For those interested, I was looking for a color to match the straps on my multi-cam backpack. Matching a color to a computer screen is always difficult. And it can be difficult to find…
