Review on 💧 CamelBak 90856 Mil Spec Antidote Accessory Reservoir Review: 70 oz/2.0L Capacity for Efficient Hydration by Adam Martinez

I am comparing this to the 70oz Camelbak Omega MIL SPEC reservoir which it replaced. The Omega tank is sold cheaper at Revain. Might be a little difficult to open. But when you close it, it's really strong and you know it won't leak or open accidentally. I was very surprised how little force it takes to open and close this item. I am sure that at some point I will have a very wet backpack. I bought MIL SPEC because I use it for things like cross country skiing in cold weather and it can fall on my pack so I need a more durable insulated tubing product. Omega definitely adds more "flavor" to water than blue. (not Mil Spec). However, this article is WAAAAY worse. Maybe because it's new and will get better with time? I was impressed that Revain customer service has just confirmed that I can return the item. I hope they don't resell it used. On the plus side, the valve cover is a nice feature that the Omega didn't have and was small enough to fit through the zippered holes on my hydration bladder's shoulder strap. .
