Review on 🖼️ VNVNK 16x16 Black Frame, 16x16 Picture Frame Without Mat Or with 12x12 Mat, Solid Wood Poster Frames for Wall Display - Set of 1 by April Bailey

I bought 3 of these frames for a poster set I received this spring. In this review I will compare these frames to a set of Lorell frames I bought last year. I liked these frames but they were out of stock at the time of purchase so I bought these instead. All 3 frames arrived undamaged. Assembly was easy: open the tabs and peel off the backing, remove the film from both sides of the acrylic sheet and place it back in the frame, add the poster, reattach the backing and reattach the tabs. It is almost identical to Lorell frames apart from the lugs. These tabs don't dig into your fingers like Lorell, so that was a nice improvement. Unfortunately, the tolerances on these frames are not that tight, causing the poster to shift slightly within the frame. It's not much, but since they cost twice as much as Laurell frames, I expected at least the same quality. Acrylic sheets also have fairly rough edges; They are hidden by the frame and not visible, but continue to speak with the corners cut off. The frame also had two mounting brackets instead of one in the middle. This isn't necessary for a frame this size and makes suspension more difficult as you have to level it instead of letting gravity do its thing. Ultimately the frame is decent and next to it looks the same as the Lorell frames I bought last year. The cropped corners and twice the price make me wish Lorell frames were available when I bought them (they seem to be back as of this writing). But they work decently enough in a pinch without being too expensive.
