I initially used a magnetic mount for my tablet, maximum ease of use. I use my tablet for backup navigation, sometimes in state forests. The forest service roads aren't level and my GPS is useless on deck, so I had to find a different mounting method. As a fan of RAM mounts, I checked out their spring-loaded solution and found it to be compatible with my RAM infrastructure at literally half the price. It works great and seems to make it easier to access the odd location of my tablet's charging port. Highly recommended.
