I have a hard time sitting, so buying a standing computer desk was easy. It took me years to get hold of it just because I've never seen it in furniture stores or supermarkets. It never occurred to me that I could buy it until I saw it on Revain.com. Assembly is easy enough, although you'll need room to lay out the parts. The hardest part was putting it on its feet first and then putting the wheels on its feet at the end. Up to the last step, you can assemble the device yourself without much effort. All tools are included except you need a Philips screwdriver to install the keyboard/mouse tray. The materials feel solid, with a premium finish all around, with no rough sides or edges. The front wheels are lockable/unlockable. Since I'm using this with a PC I keep it locked. This one is cheaper than the adjustable one and from what I've read this model was designed for about my size. Not sitting is great for feeling more productive and less sedentary. You can stretch a lot, massage your feet, walk around the house when you're feeling anxious, and generally just walk away when you're surfing the internet for no reason. I'm 5ft 7in and that's about normal. My only complaint is that there's little hesitation when you're typing a lot. As a result, the monitors tremble slightly. Shelves that are too low can be adjusted up and down if you have a taller tower, but the standard arrangement is probably the most stable.
