I bought it a year ago and installed it as a second hard drive. Have minimal consumption. Recently started using it for some small things and it ends up blocking everything that interacts with it. It's also been slower than my regular SSDs since I bought it. If you look for drivers on HP's website, you'll quickly discover that HP doesn't even know this product exists. According to the drivers website they don't make 1TB SSDs, they are limited to 500GB and regular M.2.
