This product is working properly. The reason I'm bringing it back and giving it a terrible rating is that in order to pair a product with an app, you have to grant the app completely invasive permissions on your phone. It's weird that Bluetooth pairing doesn't work unless you give the app access to your phone's location, camera, and storage. Why on earth does he need access to all or any of this? There are other bluetooth control apps for smart devices in my house that don't need it and work fine. If you deny permissions, Bluetooth will not pair and the device will not work properly.
