Review on πŸ“ Borden & Riley #234 Paris Paper for Pens Pad 9x12 - 108 lb, 40 White Sheets (1 Pad) by Gelin Battle

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My favorite paper at the moment.

I've used this paper before and keep ordering because I love it. I use a variety of pens (Micron, Prismacolor, etc.) and the ink applies well. After that it can smudge for a few seconds, but when it dries it is light and retains a black line that does not disappear even after erasing the pencil lines. I have some alcohol based markers that I'm trying to get to grips with. I'll say I don't think they won't flow through the paper, so put something underneath. This can ruin the next page. Also, I prefer the spiral version because if you fold this side over the previous one, it will fall apart at the splice and you won't be able to keep all your work together. That way it's easier to make copies of whatever is most important to your needs.

Pros
  • Ideal for thin, crisp lines, including technical and manga illustrations
Cons
  • Slightly torn
