I have used this product in my office but not as advertised by the manufacturer. I made a mistake by not reading about the product before purchasing. This is a "direct contact with visible mold” test kit, NOT an airborne mold test kit. If you see mold and use the kit as directed, the lab will tell you the type of mold and the total amount. I didn't have any visible mold to test with, so I left the test strips in three places for 24 hours to try and do an "air sample test." A test strip placed in an area where I suspected mold registered a 'scattered' amount of Cladosporium, which is impressive given the misapplication of the product.
