First, when listening to music from your phone, you have no volume control other than your phone (making it hands-free). In this case, the + and - buttons actually move one track forward or back to the beginning of the track. The visor clip is too loose. If you fold the visor down, the speaker falls into your lap. When used while on a call, the volume isn't high enough to drown out street noise (admittedly, I live in PNW, where loud streets get chewed up). The audio sounds clear to me when I'm not in the car, so I'll use it as a portable speaker.
