Review on Wellue DUOEK-S EKG Monitor: Record ECG, Heart Rate & Detect Irregular Heartbeat by Michael Dunn

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Small, light. Very easy to use. quality device. Decent app. Export PDF readings.

I'm really impressed with this EKG machine. I'm sure it's not as accurate as the multi-pin and massive device used in my GP's office, but then again, it fits in a shirt pocket. You can use it with or without the app on your phone. Of course, you may see more waveforms on your phone than on your device's display. Oh and the OLED display which gives a very clear picture. Is it easy to use? Definitely yes. Perhaps the hardest part is waiting for the battery to fully charge for the first time. But it only lasted about 2 hours, not bad. I couldn't find any information on the battery capacity, but they claim that it takes 2-3 hours to fully charge a dead battery. In terms of runtime, they state that the runtime is over 500 readings/checks. When the battery is fully charged, the indicator light will be solid green. In standby mode, it slowly flashes green. To operate, simply lift it off the charging station and hold each end (touch the metal discs on the bottom). It turns on automatically and starts reading the ECG. You can view the real-time waveform and see your heart rate. Pretty cool. And after reading the ECG, when you release the metal contacts, the results will appear (if you have a regular, normal ECG, or if any irregularities were detected). view real estate to view waveform readings. You don't have to register for an account, which is a nice touch. If you take measurements without using the app, the information will be automatically registered in the app when you pair the Bluetooth connection. The only problem is that you can't set up a second user, so the device doesn't seem capable of multi-user data sharing. You can add notes for the corresponding ECG measurement in the application so that you can tag the person ID for that particular file. and. However, the specific information about the notes is not displayed in the history, only when viewing a single file. Attached are images showing the real images of this mini ECG instrument with a ruler for size reference. I have activated the printout of ECG readings in the app. You can easily export the reading as a PDF file. So if you have a suspicious or worrying indication, you can refer it to your GP or an appropriate doctor. In my opinion, this personal EKG machine makes sense. Very easy controls, decent (simple) app and thoughtful design with quality materials and manufacturing. It deserves a 4.75 to 5 star rating with a very high recommendation.
