Assuming your main reason for buying is a 240Hz monitor, this monitor will be fine. No visible ghosting, but I'm sure there are monitors out there that can provide sharper images in fast-moving scenes. For the price ($266) it's fantastic. There is no backlight either. The only downside is the terrible viewing angles. Good viewing angles are expected from an IPS panel. It has the same viewing angles as the TN panel on my Asus VG248QG. It doesn't matter if the main goal is to sit right in front of the screen and play.
