If I clean my face with a facial cleanser (regardless of the brand) and then use a toner afterwards, I ALWAYS remove more makeup with the toner. NOT with these face towels. After using JUST WATER with these wipes and then toner there is NO transfer on the wipe. I don't know how they do it, but they remove ALL makeup residue - both face and eyes, including eyebrow pencil - with just water AND they only clean with hot water. I use a pinch of Norwex Granular Cleanser - and I mean just a pinch, about 1/2 teaspoon, to clean body and face towels, although hot water helps. I will be ordering more soon so I can have them when I travel again.
