Review on Square Schneider Electric 9013FSG2J24 Differential by Jason Graham

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Doesn't deserve such high average ratings - Bad news

The switch I received only has one adjustment nut, not two, so the on/off differential cannot be adjusted independently. Installation was easy with one BIG exception. The electrical connection screws were strongly tightened. It was very difficult to loosen them without damaging the screw heads. It took a lot of downward force to hold the screwdriver in place while turning the screw. One of mine was destroyed despite my diligence. Luckily I was able to use one from an old switch (same brand). Had I known, I would have removed the screws from my desk, perhaps with a vise, before installing the unit. There is simply no excuse for the manufacturer to ship the device in this condition. In my opinion, this is an indication of poor quality control, which doesn't bode well for this switch in the long run. Edit: It gets worse. After installation and testing, this thing turned out to be set at 125psi. I ordered 40/60. Could have blown my system if I hadn't watched the pressure rise. Unforgivable. Finally a star.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Vulgarity
