Works great for my use. I feed in the stall and feed extra hay. The only place I can leave it open is in the stable next to my horse or in the back of my truck. I tried the stand. like all the additional different creatures. He was scattered in the wind and had apparently overslept. I probably lost a quarter bale. It's okay to keep it in the back of a truck until you cut those threads. and then the whole world will enjoy your hay. This bag works perfectly. I put a 125 pound three string in there. tight. I have found that if you put it in and cut the ropes and then lower the sack all the way down at one end and get some flakes out by hanging it over the back of the truck it works great with minimal hay loss. Pull the bag back and zip it up.
