I've had all kinds of stoves and thought I love gas. Thinking is the key. This hob is actually faster and can maintain the ideal temperature without hesitation. Simple, intuitive operation, easy to clean and pleasant to use. The only thing to keep in mind is that you need pans that work on an induction (magnetic) hob for this. This has allowed me to get rid of most of our 20+ year old pan collection, buy a GOOD set and save some storage space. I will never step on the gas again. For those of you listening to the rumours, I have a pacemaker and was concerned but no problem. The hob is a delight!
