Another use: Prevent embers from reaching wildfire areas

I live in the Wildland-City interface where wildfires are a threat. Every vent in my house is a potential entrance for windblown embers. Such 1/8" mesh is recommended as an upgrade to install over existing 1/4" mesh (or larger) vents in attics and basements. It is easy to cut and place over or in existing vents. Alternatively, you can buy new 1/8" vents and remove the old ones with 1/4"-1/2".
