Doesn't tangle well in washes so conditioner is necessary, but some leave hair too smooth, lacking volume, or difficult to detangle with fingers! It is a leave-in product that detangles hair in minutes. Yes, you leave it inside and with a towel and then air dry your fine hair. It comes out soft, very shiny, with a body. Can go 2 or 3 days without shampoo again. Only leave in the product I've ever bought, I haven't tried the shampoo. Note. to the wording on the label. Nice clean smell, no residue!
