First impressions 07/09/21: I ordered these "1000Z-YW-2pcs" dual headlights for my 2009 Ford Focus. They arrived in just over a week with free shipping but to my initial disappointment they had yellow lenses. However, I connected the power supply to test them and both worked right out of the box. To their credit, these things are BRIGHT. The yellow beam is obviously very yellow with a lens filter, and the high beam is actually a white LED, but it shines through the yellow filter and produces a yellowish-bluish-greenish tint. See photos for reference. At first I was upset that they ruined those headlights, but I'm not going to lie... I really dig this. I have a HID 5000K so the white LED going through the yellow filter is pretty close to my normal high beam color. I confess I think the yellow tint on the lens makes it pretty killer. Although originally not what I ordered, I was accidentally introduced to a new item that I really like. If I hate them I'll get an exchange, but I just don't want to wait for the manufacturer. I will post additional photos of these on the car once installed and a photo of the output at night. At the moment they work, just not what I ordered. Just take a look. UPDATE 9/9/21: Ok, ok. Installed on my Focus. In general, I love yellow lentils. I'd either go for a yellow lens or I'd say a clear one... Although I'm no longer upset. Check out the pictures to see what they look like. I was able to install them as WRC style driving lights on the underside of the grille. Looks pretty minty to me and I get loads of extras on it! And the performance, combined with my other lights, is second to none! They have a clear and clean cut-off with a very comfortable beam pattern in both fog and high beam modes. I was driving through a busy city at night and on a freeway with my fog lights on and not a single car blinked at me. I also drove on a few back roads and checked the brightness... and WOAAAAAA, PLEASANT, they're bright! Seriously, it's like daylight, literally like having the sun installed on my car! These headlights mount and wire straight up. They appear to be durable, have survived the car wash with no moisture build up and while I can't comment on their durability yet, they work great and look killer so far! Will update if anything happens, but so far they seem pretty solid! Start collecting today! Be sure to mark this review as helpful if you liked it!
