I have read reviews from other buyers from current year (2021) to 2018 where buyers said these wires are too short. Knowing this, I bought these wires anyway, thinking the manufacturer had fixed this problem and I was wrong. Spend an extra $20-$30 on something like Quicksilver or Sierra and get it done the first time. My installation was attempted on a 1989 Carver Santego 3467 with two Chevy 454s and I tried routing the cables in a variety of ways. At least 2-3 cables not reached. I've also tried taking a cable from one side and moving it to the other (trigger) and that also failed. Luckily I bought 2 of these kits and was able to install them on one engine. Both kits are being returned although I was able to get one side to work. Thank you all and I hope that my review will be useful to you. I don't usually leave reviews, but I want you not to waste your time. Especially if you prefer to be on the water :-)
