Installed on my Mercruiser Thunderbolt V8, had to reuse an old wire because the rest were too short. They worked well and looked good. My distributor is on the back of the engine. It was a lot of work routing them and tuning each one to the nearest OEM length. All of the wires were shorter but matched except for the #4 connector.

The third longest wire barely reaches the third longest spark plug. I arranged them lengthwise to stretch from furthest distance to shortest. Although they are said to fit 7.4 liter engines I don't think all the cables will fit. The materials used look good and my engine ran without any problems. The 2nd wire only had a little slack while the others had a lot of slack.

I have read reviews from other buyers from current year (2021) to 2018 where buyers said these wires are too short. Knowing this, I bought these wires anyway, thinking the manufacturer had fixed this problem and I was wrong. Spend an extra $20-$30 on something like Quicksilver or Sierra and get it done the first time.
