Got this for my older miniature horse and it works great. Great fit and keeps you warm in cold weather and rain. It's round but not thick. I could imagine him sitting worse on a skinny, growing or small piglet, but for my purposes he is absolutely perfect. The construction is strong and durable, and the velcro straps on the chest and abdomen give plenty of room for adjustment (remember, they're not meant to be as tight as possible!). All velcro fastenings are reversible, with a velcro cover on the quilt itself that slides over each strap to ensure it stays secure, meaning I don't have to worry about the traps coming loose even if only half attached are. may be. I was very impressed by the price and I like the hairy withers protection and the thick waist belt. It comes with a tail cord to keep it from slipping, which is what I use and I've had no problem with it slipping more than a few inches once or twice. I highly recommend this unless you have a very skinny/tall child and for miniatures this is the best choice I've found. It's fairly warm but breathable and on the days/nights I've talked about wearing it, it wasn't sweaty underneath. I'm thrilled - especially with the price range - and would buy it again in a heartbeat. Very satisfied.
