These pads are great. Of course you'll have to use them with a steam cleaner so they don't do all the work, but they help pick up the dirt instead of smearing it. I'll definitely be ordering more. They are easy to use. Simply stand the mop upright so it knows you're pausing, wait a few seconds for the steam to stop, then lift the mop to remove the pad, place the other pad on the floor, and set the mop to stick it. Or you can do what I did and just press down on the edge of the mat with your big toe and lift the mop. My sex was really evil. We have dogs, children and my husband works at the train station. There's always red clay, spills, sticky stuff, whatever. I swiped until my sciatic nerve threw a flag and the results were great! I haven't washed the pads yet so we'll see how clean they get. I don't know if they'll ever get white again, but they're doing a great job.
