This lamp is perfect for my guppy aquarium. My plants are happy and the light quality is great. I like that it can rotate but I haven't used this feature yet. I hate replacing Aquairum bulbs with fluorescent bulbs and was thrilled when I found the LED bulb. I have a few aquariums with built in LED lights and the plants in these aquariums always look nice and healthy, much better than with any other type of lighting. I have already noticed an improvement in the health and growth rate of the plants on the side of my aquarium that is now illuminated by this lamp. It's only been two weeks. It has a nice bright light that will show off your fish without being too flashy. If you find it too bright, you can rotate it to illuminate the aquarium from the side.
