We ordered this to replace a large pot that was no longer working properly. It's a great size just for the two of us, although smaller than we expected. We don't drink much coffee, maybe a cup twice a week. But it works quickly and efficiently, and the coffee tastes great. Note that the 6 cups it produces are very small espresso cups. If you like drinking from a regular cup, this might be enough for two people as long as you don't fill the cups completely AND add milk. But if you like sipping a large cup of coffee from one cup, that might only be enough for one.
