Worth the price, great espresso maker

Very easy to use, I use mine on an induction hob and I get six cups of espresso in under 5 minutes every morning. And that includes grinding your own beans. Follow the directions and you'll have the perfect pan every time. Cleaning is also quick and easy. Rinse with hot water and air dry.

Great coffee, a design flaw

Works as it should and makes 12 ounce strong coffee. I used Starbucks dark espresso beans and ground them to medium size as directed. I gave this pot 4 stars because the lid of the pot is difficult to screw onto the bottom. It doesn't quite catch and it takes a few frustrating tries before it spins straight.

Perfect size, easy to use, works great!

We ordered this to replace a large pot that was no longer working properly. It's a great size just for the two of us, although smaller than we expected. We don't drink much coffee, maybe a cup twice a week. But it works quickly and efficiently, and the coffee tastes great. Note that the 6 cups it produces are very small espresso cups. If you like drinking from a regular cup, this might be enough for two people as long as you don't fill the cups completely AND add milk. But if you like sipping a

Terribly designed and difficult to use.

Oh my god, these design flaws make it difficult to use: 1) The handle is too small to hold with your whole hand. My wife could hold it well enough, but my very average sized male hands were too big. I either have to press my index finger against the boiling hot metal or stretch out my pinky, which is very inconvenient with a pot filled with hot liquid. 2) Coffee spills while pouring unless I use the lever on top to open the lid while pouring. EXCEPT 3) The lever doesn't open the lid really well

I don't know what everyone else is talking about.

It's so cheaply made I couldn't believe it. This should improve my previous pot, but I think I'll return it instead. The lid doesn't fit, the handle is plastic and mine was scraped out of the box. I washed it with warm water and a rag but I can't get all the residue off - it looks and feels like the remains of a glue gun. I'm not sure if the pot I bought was new even though it was sold as new - it appears to have been used and "restored" - inside the pot is paint, all scratches. That little…

Really nice jug but it's 4 cups not 3

I really wanted a 3 cup jug. When I first brewed a cup (after initially throwing out full pots), I noticed that the coffee rose much farther into the cup than my other 3-cup pot. I refilled the base and poured water into my 4 cup pot and it came right up to the safety valve. Then I did a little research on sizes and quantities. Some sources vary, but generally a "cup" in this type of pot is considered 2 ounces, so 3 cups is 6 ounces, or 3/4 cup. The literature says the pot holds 240ml, which is

We like coffee, tea and espresso best

We were looking for a percolator coffee maker that could work with our induction cooker and decided to try it because of its price, history and looks. We've only had him for about a month, but so far he seems to be doing a very good job. We especially like the very rich flavor when using freshly ground coffee with this machine every morning. The device's performance can produce enough coffee to fill two cups, but we knew that from the reviews we read before purchasing. Since my wife and I only…

BEST ESPRESSO MAKER FOR MOKA/PLATE

I was living in Turin, Italy for a few months last year and this stainless steel coffee maker came to me via Airbnb and made the perfect cup of coffee. Italy is known for its espresso and cappuccino and it didn't disappoint, but on days when I didn't want to stroll to the local coffee bar or wanted a 12-ounce cup of strong coffee to contemplate my morning, a kettle on the stovetop delivered. Even with the cheapest coffee grounds at Supermarcato which was 2 euros a bag it was delicious. I…

Works great, all real stainless steel parts

I compared many models when I decided to try the Moka coffee maker after trying a friend's coffee maker while on vacation. Many reviews by others mention rust ranging from a few uses to a few months of use. I have had and have been using it daily for about 5 months and there is no visible rust. It really is all stainless steel top and bottom. I just rinse it with water to clean it and occasionally wipe the inside with a paper towel. I started with the cheap Folgers I had and then switched to…
