Review on Wooden Floor Cabinet With Adjustable Drawers And Open Shelf - Grey Bathroom Storage Organizer For A Narrow Living Room Or Bedroom - Linen Tower And Side Cabinet By HOMEFORT by Keith Wolff

Mostly okay, though slightly overpriced

I bought a white unit. This model stood out because it's narrower than most similar units, which was important for the space I was targeting. The finish on the panels is nice enough. Unlike IKEA, all parts have ID letter stickers on them, and the hardware isn't jumbled together. The cam nuts, though, aren't super sturdy - I broke two of them trying to tighten, and had to sub leftover IKEA nuts. Also unlike IKEA the wood pegs used for assembly don't fit snuggly at all into their holes. My finished unit has a couple of small gaps between pieces, this may be a function of having to sub cam nuts. I didn't find the assembly instructions at all difficult.I paid around USD100 for this because it was the right size, I think at $60 it would be priced more fairly. But the biggest issue is that the parts came packaged in blocks of EPS, which people erroneously call styrofoam. This stuff is difficult to recycle, and the particles get EVERYWHERE. IKEA has switched to honeycomb cardboard with excellent results, why can't the mfg here?
