Micro:Bit Starter Kit

A good starter kit for anyone who wants to start learning and programming a Micro:Bit board. Comes with a battery holder and USB cable, which more advanced users probably won't need, and you can save a few bucks by buying the board separately. The whiteboard is a great learning tool and can also be used for a variety of useful projects. The board features an integrated accelerometer and compass, as well as a set of 25 LEDs that can be used in a variety of ways. Programming is done through the block editor, which allows you to learn the basics of JavaScript using blocks of code. Anyone can do it, it's not difficult at all. Create a hex file and send it to Micro:Bit and see if it works. It's quite fun and has practical applications in the real world. With the built-in sensor, you can do everything from simple games to a thermometer. I would give Micro:bit 5 stars. This is a fantastic tool for anyone wanting to learn the basics of programming and using devices like the Arduino. This pack has everything you need and there are so many resources on the web that you can use to do almost anything you want. I would recommend this to any inquisitive mind aged 11+, although a very advanced young learner may grasp the concepts at a much younger age. Once that's mastered, a whole world of more advanced coding projects is available, and it's a great way to teach kids, or even curious adults, how to code with a minimum of frustration.
