Review on 🌟 Himalayan Glow 1004 Hand Carved Natural Himalayan Salt Lamp, 15-20 lbs, Orange/Amber - Improve Visibility and SEO by Peter Bates

Beautiful but inaccurate description or wrong product with broken bulb

Cons: I'm not sure if I received the wrong product or if the description given is grossly exaggerated. I understand that the dimensions may vary depending on the type of product, but the weight is so far outside the lower range that it cannot explain the natural differences. According to the product packaging and detail insert, my lamp should weigh more than twice as much to be even the lightest acceptable weight. A 4x4x9ish instead of the 6x6x11 listed would be fine, but 7lb 13.2oz instead of the 16lb minimum leads me to believe a smaller model was sent to me incorrectly packaged. The box it came in also seemed oversized, but I can't tell for sure. The lamp was just wrapped in thin cardboard, but perhaps the empty space should have been styrofoam insulation. The lamp they sent me was black and burned out. I have other salt lamps at home so I kept a supply of spare bulbs. I don't normally turn down a review for something this small, but combined with the inconsistency of the description I thought I'd mention it. Pros: The lamp is beautifully colored and the glow is soft and soothing. The lamp they sent was 15w but I changed it to 25w and would probably offer that power. To be honest if the product description matched what I received I would give 5 stars but this is not what I ordered. I have yet to test the dimmer's electrical safety as many of the reviews mention a fire hazard. The time will show.
