This is a great product for monitoring the energy consumption of some or all of your household appliances. I needed to know why my energy use was so much higher than everyone else in my area. ComEd visited me several times but I was not happy with their conclusions. So I bought 2 sensors and installed them. I'm a mechanical engineer, so opening the main panel wasn't new to me. But if you do NOT understand "electrician" then ask an electrician to install it. It takes no more than 10 minutes. Setup was very easy and once I got started I carried the portable monitor with me and could be anywhere in the house and turn any device on or off and see what it was using. Just remember that the WiFi signal has a delay of 10-20 seconds. I was able to teach myself and my stubborn wife how to handle electricity. And now she knows well how to reduce our electricity bills with simple habits, because she knows what all our devices in the house consume. I'm on my way to reducing my bills by at least 30% or more! I can't say anything about "technical" support because I didn't have to contact them. There were more than enough instructions to get everything working.
