It looks small but works very well👍

FIRST BIG THANK YOU! This little air purifier has changed our home for the better. We live in a fairly old house which is difficult to keep clean due to dust that comes out of nowhere and the house is neither sunny nor drafty, we also have two short haired and two long haired cats who like most a little shed domestic cats. I have had it since I got it on November 3rd. mostly on medium settings. Initially it seemed a bit loud at high frequencies but after a few days it's not that noticeable and as I said I use it at mid frequencies. It's like white background noise. But when I vacuum, hoover and tidy things up, I take it into this room, turn it on full blast and leave it there for a couple of hours before taking it back to the bedroom. It helps purify the air afterwards, making it much fresher than without. I had to clean the pre-filter which is in the front cover several times as it was clogged with cat hair and "dust clumps" were coming out of their hiding spots! Now don't think that this will pick up all the hair and dust, but it will help a lot. It is not recommended to replace your vacuum cleaner! I have not used the supplied charcoal filters that came with this unit because they really are not intended to be used with this unit, I don't think so!?!? They actually mate with a smaller Hamilton Beach air purifier, the "True Air," with no cord that plugs directly into an outlet. And I happened to get this unit a long time ago (about 15 years) and ran out of filters so it was a bonus and nothing wasted. Activated carbon filters and the box even says they fit this model #04384, as well as 04383 and 04386. They are the perfect size, covering the entire front of the HEPA filter and staying in place with plastic tab holders without any gaps unlike the ones supplied. And also very cheap. So it goes without saying that there's a lot less dust and dust in here now and I might have to pick up another one or two for other rooms. I just want to wait and see our next electric bill to make sure it doesn't go up a lot before I do, but I doubt it will. I hope this information helps anyone considering buying one and that my review on the filters will help you too. I think it's worth doing some research before acquiring things that will be used on a daily basis. All you have to do is assemble them, connect them and maintain them as directed and you don't have to worry about them. I'm glad I decided to get one and if you do I hope it works for you too. ☺When I come across some really good items I will do my best to share this information and hopefully help some of you decide what to buy. I was NOT paid or asked to write any of this. This is an honest and correct opinion of my own experience with the True Air Pet Air Purifier.
