Review on Acer V226HQL UM WV6AA B01 21 5 Inch LED Lit 21.5", 1920X1080P, 60Hz, Wide Screen, ‎V226HQL Bbd by Ernest Haynes

I bought this as a placeholder monitor to use with a new gaming rig. It's not designed for that, which is why I gave it 4 stars. It's not Acer's fault that I'm not using it for its intended purpose. It's fine for desktop use, but I wouldn't recommend it for gaming or movies. Viewing angles are terrible and brightness is difficult to control. I screwed up with the windows monitor calibration software and with the settings of the monitor itself. I can't get rid of the washed out white look of the backlight no matter what I do.
