Now we have about 110 of them in multiple locations and we've only had two with problems. These are rather basic monitors, but they meet our needs. The main thing we needed was the Vesa mount, and it had to have at least one VGA connector and one DVI connector. To be honest if you don't use them for business you probably won't be too happy, the viewing angles aren't the widest and there isn't enough contrast which is fine for email or using business apps but not great for multimedia.

I bought this as a placeholder monitor to use with a new gaming rig. It's not designed for that, which is why I gave it 4 stars. It's not Acer's fault that I'm not using it for its intended purpose. I bought this monitor to replace the old HP that came with my desktop. I was told that his performance was off the charts and the reviews were very good. Little did I know that most people don't understand the difference between a matte screen and a glossy screen. Simply put, a matte screen means dull, muted, dull colors no matter what you're doing. I bought two of these monitors and have been using them for over two years without a single problem. In terms of screen size, these are the best budget monitors in my opinion. With them you get quality and more for your money than with other installations. With two of these I get more screen real estate than with a more expensive 27-inch monitor.

These are great monitors, but they lack some sort of speaker. While I use the DVI input for my main PC, the VGA input on one of them is connected to my torrent computer. It was important to me to be able to test the sound of the files on this PC, so I had to find a way to connect a speaker. My monitors are mounted on a triple LCD bracket so I was able to easily repurpose one of the stands that came with the monitor and attach the Dell Soundbar that was used on the 19" LCDs I was replacing…

I wanted an inexpensive monitor to use as a second screen for my Acer laptop. As a bonus, it supports a resolution of 1280 x 1024 at 75 Hz, which gives gaming (along with the integrated Nvidia 940MX) a nice boost. For less than 100€ it does what I expected.

I've owned this for almost 2 years now? This is a great product! And works for what I need it for. I'm not a hardcore gamer or anything, but I play it sometimes. It works great, great graphics and great visibility.

There was no DVI-to-HDMI cable included in the box (and it says it only comes with a VGA cable). Make sure you get/have the correct cable for your application. Thanks seller.

Works well. Everything matches the description but the display on what I have does not have the same vivid colors as other monitors I have used. I've worked on the controls as best I could, but never made it much better. Good price. But if you're looking for a monitor that's at the top of the range, don't buy this one. Obviously there's a reason for the lower price of this one.

This is a normal monitor but it has no audio input! I have the exact same model with audio input. That should have been in the description. The manual says there is a socket, but it isn't. Maybe a cheaper version from Amazon? Not sure. sent back >

One of the worst monitors I've ever had. I assume the seller knew this when they put it up for sale for $16 to sell the item. It can be used as a secondary monitor, but forget it if you want to play games or watch movies on it. Image quality is disgusting.

We have a lot of these at work. They're very reliable, but color reproduction is poor and viewing angles are so terrible that it's difficult to show colleagues what's on your screen. Spend $20 more and get a decent display.

Significant over-resolution (which admittedly could be my computer, but since I don't have any over-resolution on the 5 other monitors I've hooked it up to, I'll most likely blame the monitor) isn't really a problem. compared to the almost complete lack of contrast in the monitor. With the best settings I could get (brightness down, contrast up, several different modes), it's hard to see what's happening on the screen. Defective, constantly flickers white. Unfortunately I did not attempt to use the monitor before the return period had expired.

This monitor is a great place to start. It comes with a VGA cable, stand and power cord. This is an HD display with a display time of 5ms, so ideal for gaming. Colors are bright. The screen is matte, as is the bezel, if that helps. I prefer matte because it looks cleaner and more professional. I will be using this as my daily driver and will post an update for more information in a couple of weeks.

The only downside is the on-screen display for general desktop use, which is eye straining while watching movies is normal. That's what I expected from the cheapest product I could buy. Only VGA cable included. I have two of these side by side and they work perfectly.

I recently got my Acer 21.5 and just noticed that there is a scratch right in the middle of the screen and it showed when I sat down to use it.

Although the product description lists an HDMI port, it does NOT have an HDMI port. Using an adapter will reduce graphics quality and cause the screen to dim constantly. The returns are also messy. The seller charges a 15% restocking fee, and the seller also appears to deduct the shipping cost (to get the item to me) from the refund. So you pay the shipping in both directions.

Works very well but the clip on cable clip on the back of the stand was broken and didn't hold up. This was due to be replaced but didn't have the parts to order it and also wanted the monitor to work. Huge inconvenience.
