These are great monitors, but they lack some sort of speaker. While I use the DVI input for my main PC, the VGA input on one of them is connected to my torrent computer. It was important to me to be able to test the sound of the files on this PC, so I had to find a way to connect a speaker. My monitors are mounted on a triple LCD bracket so I was able to easily repurpose one of the stands that came with the monitor and attach the Dell Soundbar that was used on the 19" LCDs I was replacing. Since Acer monitors don't have power for the speaker, they have external power, I just had to make a few small modifications to the snap mechanism (remove the 2 right angle tabs that prevent it from rotating) and then secure its simple right angle. I had a mounting plate laying around (from a universal car radio/eq kit) The whole process took 30 minutes max and looks great.
