Very impressive! I was hesitant to give this review 5 stars but after seeing the test results I agree 5 stars. This is my third projector. The latest was Epson 2030 1080p. This thing cost me $1200 and has served me well for many years. But I gave away Epson and sometimes missed the projector. I also didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I don't use often. Then I saw the Yaber 1080p projector at Revain and tried it out. I used the default picture settings for the attached animated shots and the "soft" picture mode to reduce the contrast of the computer image. The animated image with the best contrast was taken in a dark room. In the other two photos, a 100-watt ceiling light was on in the room. Both were 60 inch diagonal frames. What's good: I can't test if it puts out 5000 lumens, but it's brighter than my old Epson's 2000 lumens. I had none of the 1 and 2 star issues. HDMI video 1080p BluRay displays flawlessly with no stuttering or stuttering. The picture is actually native 1080 and looks fine even in a non-dark room. Focus across the screen is good but not perfect. Noticeable in 1080p video and text around the edges is still legible as seen in a computer generated image. This is a nice feature that allows you to get an image that fits the screen without having to move the projector. The LED light source delivers good color rendering and should last many times longer (70,000 hours is a bit optimistic) than traditional projectors. in the loudspeaker ensures sufficient volume and actually sounds good. Much better than I expected, eliminating the need for a soundbar for videos that are mostly talk. Zero cooling time. Short start time. Lots of user configurable settings. Gray area: The description on the Revain page mentions "Updated advanced and silent cooling system with 3 fans running simultaneously". Whether there is more than 1 fan I can't tell, but what is there runs at a constant speed that can only be set higher with the remote control. I measured the fan noise at 42-47dB at 1m on Low (default) setting. I don't know why anyone would use a "High" fan setting when the projector works fine on "Low". A high setting adds about another 3 dB to the noise. My sound level meter may not be calibrated so the absolute numbers may vary slightly, but the fan noise is higher than the 25-35dB of projectors that are 2-3 times more expensive. My old Epson was 27dB and I had to listen closely to hear the fan noise. But then you pay a lot more for less noise. Noise is not unpleasant as long as you are not sitting next to the projector. Conclusion: Overall, all the features I tried worked as advertised. I haven't tried an analog VGA input, just both HDMI ports. I would (and do) recommend others a good value for the money for those who don't need perfect video and/or significant projector noise. It also works well as a business projector, displaying text clearly in a well-lit conference room with typical laptop resolution.
