Review on ALOKSAK ALOK3 16X24 ALOKSAK BAGS 16X24 by Jay Maryland

I have been using Aloksaks for my cameras for years and this was the first time I have bought them for my laptops when traveling in Central America. I took a netbook there last year and within 3 months all the connectors were rusted it was crazy. They mostly still work as the plug parts are gold plated inside or something, not really sure, but they don't rust, just the body metal. In the end it didn't really matter, but now that I have a much better computer things will be much better. My camera Aloxacs last about 3-6 months but I use them almost daily. They are extremely waterproof and I have even completely submerged the lenses in water and dried them with color changing silica gel and Aloksak and they are in perfect condition again. You just have to leave the electronics you want to dry (or let dry) there for at least a few days to be completely safe. If you bend the bags or fold them in weird ways, there will be weaknesses after a few months, but that's to be expected. Great product, I'm sure I will be buying many more in the future.
