ALOKSAK ALOK3 16X24 ALOKSAK BAGS 16X24 Review

I bought this to fit in my Ursack Bear bag. Unfortunately I misunderstood the size. It is 24 inches wide and 16 inches high. So it doesn't fit in my pocket. Revane doesn't seem the right size for me. I've bought this brand before and they work great. I wish the description and pictures were better.

I was looking for durable waterproof bags for the fridge; I'm sick of our food getting wet from the melting ice. I thought they would work fine but during my 5 day trip one tore at the seam and both got into the water through the seams not just the zipper. They were basically useless and a waste of money.

I used these packsacks to wash my laundry on vacation. They are made of thick plastic with a heavy clasp. You must be sure you have closed them properly. I had a water leak because I wasn't careful. They did a great job with the laundry. They are also great for returning liquids (wine, vodka, cider) when checking your bag. These seem to last a long time.

I bought these because I wanted something to store traffic lights that would then fit in a larger bin in my car. Since I have a jacket and a few other items in this box, I didn't want the torch smell to spread to everything. These bags are made of thick plastic and seal tightly. Not only does this keep the contents dry, but it also keeps the flashlight smell from permeating everything else in the box.

I didn't believe it at first but these things really don't lick at all, it's almost magical. I know they're supposed to be waterproof, but I saw a cool hack where someone used them to wash their clothes on a hike, and while the process is quite painful, the pockets work great, even after guessing only drop spilled they were abandoned. I only bought this bag to wash while hiking. The bag changed my life. I bought a drain plug but don't think I'll end up using it because I really don't want to wash my clothes in the sink. I have been using Aloksaks for my cameras for years and this was the first time I have bought them for my laptops when traveling in Central America. I took a netbook there last year and within 3 months all the connectors were rusted it was crazy. They mostly still work as the plug parts are gold plated inside or something, not really sure, but they don't rust, just the body metal.
